Pop Culture References

I communicate a lot in pop culture reference much like the aliens in the TNG Episode "Darmok" 

For some reason I can remember movies and TV very well (there are a LOT of other things that I struggle with remembering (which is why I am such a prolific note taker)).  If I saw a movie in the theater I can usually remember which movie theater.  I quote movies like I was studying for a quiz show...

I decided to name my tumor, weird, sure....but I did it anyway....

If you have ever seen the move Total Recall you would know about this.  I named my tumor Kuato after the psychic growth that emerged from one of the people that were mutated on Mars.

This is a little weird but you are looking from the bottom up NOT top down.  So it would normally look like this is on my left side but it is actually on my right side.

Language from MRI Report

There is a T2/FLAIR hyperintense, expansile lesion that appears centered in the cortex of the anterior right middle frontal gyrus measuring up to 3.4 x 2.7 x 2 cm (series 4, image 23 and series 12, image 78). There is expansion of the cortex in this area with the adjacent somewhat ill-defined T2 FLAIR hyperintensity in the subjacent subcortical white matter. There is no associated enhancement or restricted diffusion. There is no associated susceptibility artifact to suggest superimposed hemorrhage or mineralization.

I know it is weird, but I am hoping I can keep Kuato when this is all done....maybe in jar with some masking tape with his name, so I can look at him from time to time and remember how lucky I am...I am lucky to have caught it early....still need to get past pathology and whatever the next steps are.
