Mickey Mouse
So my meeting with my NO went really well. I was told SOMETHING along the lines of my scan was as clean as I possibly could have hoped for which is great. I also did mention that I saw the Mickey Mouse in my MRI and the NO seemed impressed and asked if I had looked it up (which I hadn't). Apparently this figure is something they look for to see if you might have signs of something called "progressive supranuclear palsy" or also referred to as "Steele-Richardson-Olszewski syndrome" which is not great and has some negative effects with movement. This is all a part of the mid-brain.
So I went through my MRI images again and found a MUCH clearer image showing that my mid-brain appears to be OK:
You can notice that the ears on this more clear picture are not nearly as round and are kind of squarish (rectangleish) AND there is a slight indent on what would be Mickey's chin. These are both indicators that I don't have PSP/SROS....so that is a good thing.
