Paxlovid, new tests and scan, and a new group

Paxlovid So my NO team got me on Paxlovid for my Covid and it seems it was pretty effective. I have a slight lingering cough but I feel I am at 98% of pre-covid. I am also working out and getting on the bike again There is something called Paxlovid Mouth. And I can tell you from personal experience this is a real thing. Not bad enough to not take Paxlovid, but enough to make you glad when you are done with the paxlovid course. New Tests Well...ok not really new tests but I am getting moved from every week to every other week. Which is great to have that time back. Also less "Scanxiety" (which I just learned that term this week) related to the tests. As mentioned previously there is a low probability of heart arrhythmia. The thing they are looking for is a lengthening of your QT in your EKG (which is the same thing / different name as echocardiogram). Mine seems to be getting tighter over time rather than longer. Epic Miscommunications Leading to Missed Presciption

Background: I noticed I was running low on my Tibsovo AKA Ivosidenib on Monday. I normally get a call from the pharmacy ( Biologics by McKesson (BBM)) when it is time for renewal. It goes something like this: Biologics: Time for your renewal, any of your meds changed or have you been hospitalized? Me: Nope Biologics: Should we use the card on file? Me: Yup Biologics: Great it will ship out tomorrow and you will get it the next day (there is actually a LITTLE bit more like verifying my ID but you get the gist) The Hunt for a Renewal But I didn't get my call when I expected it. So I call and leave a message on Monday night when I notice. They have a place to leave a VM and get a call back the next day. I never got the message on Tuesday so I call and leave another message but this time I also put a reminder in my calendar to call them during working hours which would be Wednesday (my last day of supply). How did we get here?

Utah ~1994 At this time I was seeing orthodontists and it was noted that my overbite was too big to deal be correct by any other means but by surgery. I didn't know what I was getting myself into. The surgery needed to break my jaw, move it forward, lock it in place with 2 screws (titanium I think) on both side, and then have my jaw wired shut for 6 weeks. I was always under the impression that when my jaw was unwired I would be able to go about life as normal. Little did I realize that my jaw would be extremely weak, unable to open more than a pinky's girth (I am sure there is a better word) and the pain of trying to use my jaw was very real. I lost a ton of weight during that time and there were a few jokes about it being so effective as a dieting method that it might start to take off :-) After the surgery my jaw never really worked 100%.
